What’s been happening:

After college, from 1962 to 1965, I taught French at York Central School District. In 1965, I returned to PSU for my MEd. In 1966, I began teaching in the Big Spring School District in Newville, PA and I retired in 1993. During my years at Big Spring I chaperoned over 200 students to France, began an exchange program with a high school in Cholet, France and traveled throughout Europe and the U.S. I was fortunate to have received Who's Who Among America's Teachers twice, Carlisle Area's Finest Educator Award and to have been nominated as an Outstanding French Teacher in the American Association of Teachers of French. Now I am enjoying my retirement.
